Black & White Hollywood Regency Bath by Studio SHK

This dramatic black and white bath exudes pure glitz and glamour. Designer Sherry Hope-Kennedy, Studio SHK, took a bold approach to her client’s small San Francisco bath.

Project's description: To create a lasting impression, she infused a contrasting, black and white color palette, and paired it with simple, streamlined silhouettes. Geometric-striped tiles create a texture-rich background for the tub surround and floor. Ann Sacks tile from the Kelly Wearstler collection take center stage.

To balance the bold black and white color scheme, the shower features heavily-veined marble tile in shades of grey and white. The subtle pattern makes a sexy statement. Shiny black surfaces — lacquered vanity, polished accent table, and modern pendant lamp — pair with gold-plated fixtures from Watermark Design. The result is a small space that packs a big style.
