From the architect: The project, designed by Studio MILO on a paper napking, during a visit at Sull'Albero - Salone del Mobile 2018- , has interpreted the concept that - deeply inside- we do not want to grow up .. the playful aspect of the childhood has been interepreted as an ongoing activity, a never ending dream for the years to come..
Immegersed in the sourranding nature with a previlged point of view, the little house is erected on stilts tree meters above soil level, hugged to the trees as a marvelous nest.
The inclined shape is the perfect tool to let the child imagination run, it also creates a "private and unique retreat " for anyone who wants to find peace and a connection with the nature ... with this purpuse, the windows are set as vertical cuts into the structure, offering breathtaking view of the sorraundings.
Materials: pillar in burned larch, external cladding in Finnish thermowood pine and black nylon fishing net.
A blackboard as a canvas to express all sort of creativity, small cupboards and a bunk bed make the interiors playful, while a nowrrow passage from one tree to the other creates a supsened platform ideal for pic-nic or romatic dinners - for childer and adults that won't to give up dreaming.
