As the gateway to the capital of the United Arab-Emirates, Abu Dhabi International Airport architecture was developed by Kohn Pedersen Fox, as contributing to the list of super-architectural complex in the world. As part of the plan to the city in 2030, with the ambition to transform the desert into a "Garden of the Gulf", the project will provide the infrastructure for a community social cohesion and sustainable economy . According originally planned, the airport will welcome 30 million passengers a year, or 8,500 visitors per hour
