Project's description: A lover of entertaining, our client desired a home that was a showpiece – one that articulated both elevated design and casual comfort. The arrival sets the tone with foyer walls wrapped in rich walnut, 12 ft. celling heights, and a view into the den and dramatic skyline beyond.
A reinterpreted ‘man cave’, the den is layered in inspired denim blue and gray hues, while the principal bedroom is lighter, featuring warm wood paneling, leather upholstered headboard designed with integrated graphic art, and architectural cove lighting, setting a distinctive, calming mood.
The large adjacent ensuite – exposed to the bedroom by glass - is enveloped in sumptuous marble and stone, providing the homeowner with a true spa experience. An elegant hall leads to the expansive living and dining open concept, with close to 360-degree immersive lake and city views. Here slatted black walnut ceiling millwork paired with dark kitchen cabinetry complement the ‘leathered’ Bianco Lasa Macchia Vecchia stone countertops, back-lit Alabaster stone wine cooler, sleek fireplace, Euro lighting selections and clean furniture forms.
Dynamic contemporary artworks and teal accents introduce colour into the narrative, animating the home’s neutral backgrounds and injecting it with a playful energy. The breathtaking 2,000 sq. ft. terrace, complete with dining, lounge seating, glass clad hot tub and enclosed sauna/fitness continues the opportunities for entertaining and wellness; a perfectly appointed urban haven.
