Zoo Along The Waterfront by Napp Studio & Architects

Project's description: As a unique chill-out spot hidden in the city centre overlooking the breath-taking Victoria Harbour scenery, we imagine adding various objects which could be commonly found from everyday furniture in suggesting new alternative activities and uses on the lawn.

With the specific proportion for each usage, the furniture-objects, which originally were pragmatic and unfeeling, are now animated into animals with personalities that everyone can refer to. Inspired by the forms of five different animals, through deploying wood strips of various lengths to build this portable furniture series. A fox, giraffe, monkey, elephant, and cat each occupies a favourable position on the lawn to enjoy the sunshine.
