From the architect: Bathrooms, at the request of the client, are separate. The design was made for a young man who would not permanently reside in an apartment. The main preferences of the client were functionality, conciseness, minimalism, absence of a large number of black and bright colors. The whole apartment is designed in a brown-white-gray range, which emphasizes stability, tranquility, coziness.
The entrance zone is united in one color, forming a single portal. Porcelain, paint for racks, cupboards, doors and walls are matched as closely as possible to a single tone. The entrance zone did not want to be deprived of light, but the living room should not have been so open. Rotating 360-degree partitions helped solve two problems at once. They form as a single wall, and at another angle they give light to penetrate into the whole room. On the reverse side of the glued mirror, it performs not only its direct purpose, but also visually expands the space.
The idea of the bedroom is also built on dividing the room into 2 zones using color portals: the first zone is for sleeping, cozy and warm; the second - at the window - for rest and reading, bright and minimalistic. Reiki, medium in tone, set the direction and unite the two spaces between themselves. A brown color, meanwhile, creates a feeling of comfort and relaxation. At use of enough dense tones in the necessary places the apartment remains light and cozy.
