From the architect: One of the most significant interventions was the division of the original apartment into two, achieved by introducing a new wall in the center of the living room. This wall not only restored the apartment to its original configuration but was also designed functionally, integrating shelves that optimize the space and provide a discreet yet functional element.
The bathrooms and kitchens underwent complete transformations, featuring materials and finishes that brought new vitality to the space. The simple, unadorned lines of the walls were complemented by friezes which evoke a more eclectic architecture.
In the remaining areas, subtle yet significant improvements were made. The existing flooring was sanded, resulting in a more subdued tone that contrasts with the abundant natural light flooding the apartments. This light, combined with the spacious areas, contributes to the creation of welcoming environments.
The renovation breathed new life into the apartments. The combination of a more functional layout, the use of quality materials, and attention to detail ensured that the spaces reflect a harmonious balance between the past and the present, providing comfort, elegance, and functionality to the residents.
