Residence ‘t Gooi is a private home that has a luxurious design and make optimal spaces to allow inhabitant have more time with their young children. The villa was designed by Kolenik Eco Chic Design.
Project's description: On a sunny day, they can relax together in the deep garden in which a series of garden rooms offer a restful view. Inside, Robert Kolenik has given careful thought to seating. The family can lie back in one of the environmentally sound Proud sofas he has designed, or sit at the gleaming wooden table. Here, gloss and matt elements alternate, such as dark-stained kitchen units juxtaposed with high-gloss, white-lacquered wall cabinets. Dining and cooking are intertwined, and even the office corner is firmly at the heart of the home. The designer has given a modern twist to some exceptional classic details, including a recycled Persian carpet, large oak floor panels and grandiose vases.
All this chimes beautifully with the luxurious washbasins, which incorporate glass mosaic by Sicis. In the basement, Kolenik has designed a wellness space that is reminiscent of an Italian spa, complete with a sauna, a swimming pool with adjustable floor, natural showers and a subtly lit bar in natural stone. All of this exudes the luxury of eco design. A film screen glides into view at the touch of a button. Multi-functional elements return in the bedroom with its richly upholstered master bed, whose foot-end conceals a television and a make-up table that can be conjured up by remote control. The mosaic reappears in the en-suite bathroom, where Kolenik makes optimal use of daylight to highlight a few choice details.
