Micro Apartments in Vilnius by HEIMA Architects

Micro-apartments is a complex of 4 tiny studio apartments in Ševčenkos loft district in Vilnius, Lithuania. Creative environment inspired a search of fresh attitude towards living.

From the architect: This project attempts to question the minimal living needs. 25 sq. m apartment houses everything necessary for everyday life – a bed, a kitchenette, living-room area and even a bath. Every area is minimized, but still comfortable to use.

Different spaces are divided by furniture. Lifting up the bed opens a walk-in wardrobe, that even fits shirt on a hanger. Dining table/desk can be easily turned into a coffee table if flipped on a side. Every studio has two of them, also tables can to stacked to save space.

To emphasize shape and space, the materials and textures are rejected. Each apartment is a combination of white and a single color, which is different for each apartment.
