From the architect: With a minimalist taste, the design of this 520m² residential apartment, located in the Jardins neighborhood of São Paulo, invests primarily in good circulation conditions. In spacious and articulated areas and, as its name suggests, in perfect viewing conditions for its privileged landscape.
Sparsely furnished with iconic design pieces from Brazil and abroad, its interiors primarily reflect the firm determination of its owners to highlight the privileged view from its large openings: on one side, the verdant Jardim Europa. On the other, the vibrant Avenida Paulista.
Home to a couple of entrepreneurs and their three children (two girls, aged 26 and 22, and a boy, aged 20), who enjoy long outdoor gatherings with friends and family – a condition favored by its large balcony – its layout includes a living room integrated with the dining room, a kitchen connected to the service area, as well as a family room and four suites.
Through a well-balanced combination of light, both direct and indirect, artificial and natural, with luminous coverings like Navona travertine marble – present on the living room floor and ceiling – lighting emerges as an additional asset. Sometimes merely brushing the walls. Other times directing the gaze to a piece of furniture or artwork.
In line with the minimalist approach of the composition, the colors adopted for the furniture favored neutral tones, with few color nuances, present mainly in the details. "In this sense, I see marble as the project's synthesis material, conveying sophistication and, at the same time, a sense of warmth," concludes Fernanda.
