Project's description: The original 3-bedroom layout can be retained without alterations. With rearrangement of the room function and bringing in a harmonic colour palette, the apartment can be bringing into a new steps for this family to start again. The light warm oak wood flooring set a perfect tone for the whole ambient, with off-white painted metal framed sliding doors and screen separating the kitchen and the foyer, the spaces are clearly defined with touches of calm and peaceful tone. The white tiles in the kitchen with hand-made edges adds extra layer of texture to the space.
Foyer and kitchen floor have a little twist by using terrazzo stone, with fluted glass by the entrance gently dividing the living area from the main door, allowing natural light to flood on this space subtly. Arranging a brass framed full height mirror with a matching finish clocks add the touch of elegance to this space.
The choices of light fittings & furniture also show the memories and love to the family. The hardwood sofa which the owners growing up with is repaired and added with new upholstery cushions, bringing new life to the old piece of furniture. The clock with pendulum hanging by the dining table, also operates again after fixing and repairing. DUO lamp above the dining table, symbolising the harmony & balance in this new home, showing the different characters of the owners. Collection antique items like vinyl players and retro posters coherent with the history of the apartment perfectly.
