VinFast officially announced VinFast President - the most limited car model in Vietnam designed by Pininfarina

VinFast officially announced VinFast President - the limited edition SUV model. With a 6.2L V8 engine, maximum speed of nearly 300 km/h, exclusive luxury details, VinFast President is one of the most powerful SUVs in the world at the moment. This car affirms the production capacity and outstanding level of VinFast after two years of launching.

Designed by Pininfarina, VinFast President is a special high-class car and only produced in limited quantities of 500 units, exclusively for the Vietnamese market. This car is priced at 3.8 billion VND (~ 164K USD) for the first 100 customers, and 4.6 billion VND (~198K USD) for the next customers. This car is the masterpiece from VinFast, which aims to pioneering customers, who have capability of leading, influencing, sharing vision and have a strong will to rise strongly like what VinFast is pursuing.

VinFast President is a further step in the cooperation between VinFast and Pininfarina. The Italian design house has already developed the exterior and interior design of the LUX A2.0 sedan and LUX SA2.0 SUV and has manufactured in its atelier in Cambiano, Torino, the two show cars that VinFast unveiled the 2018 Paris Motor Show. Pininfarina has defined for VinFast a recognizable brand identity and developed a specific design language, such as the unique V logo in the grille, which references the country of Vietnam, as well as the Vingroup and VinFast brands.

VinFast President can be seen as one of the most powerful SUV in the world. The masterpiece has a 6.2L V8 engine, maximum capacity of 420 horsepower, maximum torque of 624 Nm. Combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission and a full-time 4-wheel drive system, VinFast President can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds, reaching a maximum speed of nearly 300 km/h.

In terms of exterior, VinFast President has a majestic, elegant, and powerful design by Pininfarina. The embossed veins on either the capo or the sides give the car an aerodynamic beauty, along with iconic details such as front, rear LED strip lights, and V-shaped logo. The grille is designed in a diamond shape to accentuate the high class, while the large air cavity on the capo enhances the car’s strong appearance. The highlight of VinFast President’s rear is a pair of sporty large dual exhaust pipes, which effectively support the V8 engine running smoothly and achieving optimal performance.

In addition to the basic points, VinFast President is also impressed by luxurious and sophisticated details covered in Gold color, Copper bronze, Gun Metal, or Metallic Silver on the logo, roof rack, door braces, car steps, wheel, front and rear bumper and 18 exterior paint colors for customers to choose.

In terms of interior, VinFast President emphasizes the comfort of both the driver and the rear seat occupant with massage, heating and ventilation features for the first and second rows. In particular, the second row of seats is very spacious with an increased legroom of up to 20 cm compared to the Lux SA2.0 model.

All seats are covered with premium Nappa leather from exclusive leather suppliers - Eagle Ottawa the premium Veneer wood made in Italy to the President. Having a natural vortex structure, the wood cladding on each VinFast President will have a completely different pattern, also creating an "own ID" for each vehicle, ensuring the exclusivity of each car.

The entertainment space is upgraded with a large 7-inch multi-function display cluster, a center screen of 12.3 inches and 13 high-end speakers. All details bring a quality commensurate, which follows the mission of "car for the leaders" to VinFast President.

At the launching event, Ms. Nguyen Thi Van Anh - Standing Deputy General Director of VinFast Company said: “President is a product line that represents the high class and quality of VinFast, it is also our affirmation to the world of Vietnamese automobile production capacity. We want to dedicate this wonderful product and VinFast's top-notch customer care services to Vietnamese people who have a pioneering and strong spirit. That is also the reason why VinFast only produces a limited number of 500 cars to ensure  this masterpiece is worthy of its owner”.

Beside the launch of the VinFast President in Vietnam, VinFast is continuing to focus on the research and development of EV models to achieve the export target to the US market by 2021.
