From the architect: The concept was to develop a collection of homes all based around the owners love for water and landscape and to make these elements integral into the homes themselves.
The four house typologies (Courtyard, Parallel, Panorama and Pavilion) share a fractured built form allowing every internal space to have a direct connection with the outside. We introduced courtyards into the centre of the plan so that nature is brought right up to and against the internal spaces.
Reflecting pools puncture the plan, to draw the eye through the house towards the azure waters of the Caicos Bank and in doing so to immerse the owners in nature. We enjoy the way the reflected water plays theatrically on the ceilings of the houses at night. Each house has an individual boat dock allowing the owners convenient access to the ocean.
