Project's description: This comprehensive remodel of a Spanish style home in La Quinta, California right away imbues a sense of sanctuary. Interior Designer Anne-Marie Barton wanted to create a soothing atmosphere and this was essential through the use of quiet textures, warmth, and subtlety. Restraint was the ultimate aim of this design. A restrained aesthetic is made clear by the subtlety of the wall texture to the furniture choices, all creating continuity between each of the spaces. It connects the entire experience to a spa-like feel and whispers 'an escape'. This is the respite our client was looking for and to land here is the essence of what they were hoping for in their lives.
